Visiting Kyiv in May, the COAT showroom was one of my must-shop destinations and I had the pleasure to meet Katya, who came into the shop. She has that kind of energy which inspires you to stop procrastinating whatever it was you were lazy with, and just start doing things, and do more, and try harder. I really enjoy meeting designers and creators behind great brands who are down to earth but also inspire and motivate you to go to the next level yourself. Especially as a woman trying to break into the sustainable fashion blogging sphere, its inspirational to meet other creative women who are dominating the industry with talent, creativity and hard work. Needless to say, I left the COAT showroom full of motivation…and this incredible midi dress.

I spotted this dress in March on a Ukrainian pop superstar Tina Karol, when she wore it on The Voice Ukraine and immediately fell in love with it. The simplicity in color and print, beauty of small details, femininity and wide versatility of this piece made it a staple must-have for casual days (paired with sneakeys and a knit cardigan) and dressy nights (paired with heels). While checking out the items at the COAT showroom, I knew I couldn’t overshop (due to unfortunate luggage weight limits), so if I was going to walk away with one item, it was going to be this incredibly flattering midi dress.
