I decided to keep the series of posts from our 2019 Paris trip heavy on the visuals, light on the education… But you know I’m not letting you leave here without some interesting new information, so I’ll be breaking down each of the outfits I wore on this trip because each one has a great story, an amazing ethical designer or a cool sustainable label behind it.

On this first day (actually night, because we slept all day), I wore this amazing midi Naadam dress.

I’m an ambassador for Naadam so you may think I’m biased in my praise, but I was a huge fan of the brand way before we partnered up. Naadam pieces are always incredibly soft, flattering, chic and trendy, but most importantly ethically produced / sourced and sustainable! The brand is highly transparent about how and where they source cashmere: they work with nomadic herders and families in Mongolia providing fair pay and livestock insurance, invest in breeding and well-being programs and veterinary care for the animals, create fencing structures and a 2k-tree Naadam Park for the environment preservation and local economy stimulation… And that’s nowhere near all the initiatives the brand does to care for the workers, environment and the animals.

I love the fit and color of this dress. It’s still very skin-tight and sexy (so perfect for a night out), but super soft and comfortable, so you feel like you’re lounging around….on above-mentioned night out. I’m also very into earth tones in my wardrobe right now (as is the rest of the world, I know), so this was a great color combo of nude / white / black. It’s also worth mentioning that I wore it as a dress, but the piece can also be worn as a duster, which I would probably take to the airport with me if I didn’t care about getting the item dirty and wrinkled… I’m not the most graceful or neat on the plane.
