ABOUT TRACE COLLECTIVE: We make clothes, yes. But we mostly we are creating a movement that uses fashion as a tool for environmental regeneration and social cohesion. Producing and shipping products still has an impact, but we strive every day to bring it to the minimum, while we help our buyers make choices that give back to the planet and society.

ABOUT TREEM: As a company and as believers of the True and Elegant Movement, we strongly believe in reaching out with our raw and elegant design language, but we also in equal part believe in making the world better at the same time. That is why we are making it our goal to contribute to UN’s Sustainable development goals. We have chosen four that we focus on at this stage: Goal 5 – Gender Equality, Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, Goal 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production, Goal 13 – Climate Action.

ABOUT UNIVERSAL STANDARD: US believes in ethical working conditions + wages, and only works with factories that are able to present certifications such as Bureau Veritas, WRAP, and Intertek. The Founders Alex + Polina personally visit and vet every factory US works with (in China, Peru, France, and the USA). They also only approve factories where they’ve personally determined those working in them are offered fair wages and ethical working conditions. US also donates clothes returned via the Fit Liberty program to Dress for Success, and is committed to plastic-free packaging.

ABOUT VEPSI: At VEPSI, we are convinced influencers represent a powerful opportunity. They are drivers of a global ethical lifestyle movement and address social, environmental and economic issues.
MY ROLE: Brand Ambassador of VEPSI. Collaboration with AYANI through VEPSI in Paris.

DESCRIPTION: Matt and I met with amazing co-founders of VEPSI in Paris to talk all things sustainability and ethics in the fashion industry. I selected the dress by AYANI that best represented my style and we shot it by Arc de Triomphe. The goal was to showcase the dress as an item that can be worn on its own or styled with layers and accessories.

MY ROLE: Brand Ambassador of NAADAM. Collaboration on release of new biker shorts and travel pants.

DESCRIPTION: NAADAM was releasing new pieces for comfortable traveling in the summer of 2019 and we received the items to shoot prior to the launch. The goal was to show how the items could be worn traveling for maximum comfort, but also how they can be styled for day-to-day.

ABOUT ALLIED: allied global marketing is the world’s leading entertainment, culture and lifestyle agency.
MY ROLE: Promoting the theatre release of Captain Marvel through 90s fashion-themed posts.

DESCRIPTION: This was my 2nd partnership with Allied Marketing to promote a movie release through posts featuring thrifted clothing from the movie’s time period. I received a gift card from Allied to shop pieces at 10 Ft. Single by Stella Dallas in Brooklyn, NY that would speak to my personal style and represent the main 90s trends also featured in Captain Marvel.

ABOUT MICHAEL’S: Michael’s, The Consignment Shop for Women, is a New York City institution, and a staple among New York’s most fashionable and savvy women. Since 1954, Michael’s Consignment has been dressing New York City’s rich, famous, and fabulous in high-end designer apparel and accessories for a fraction of the retail price.
MY ROLE: Working with Michael’s team and photographer to put together 3 looks featuring 1 item (One Item Challenge). All pieces were found and sold at Michael’s.

DESCRIPTION: This collaboration was done in April to celebrate Earth Month and promote circularity in fashion. I spent the day styling 3 looks at Michael’s around 1 denim jacket and shooting them in locations around the store on the Upper East Side in NYC. This partnership led to my 1-day takeover of Michael’s Instagram Stories and a blog post on Michael’s Girl Talk blog about our work together on this One Item Challenge.
In collaboration with Michael’s Consignment Store in NYC, I put together 3 looks featuring one item: an oversize denim jacket.

February 24, 2022 – my digital space shifted to include information about russia’s war on Ukraine, the devastation and destruction my home country is dealing with and the bravery, strength and inspiring spirit they are facing it with. A large portion of my posts today highlight Ukrainian brands, fashion, culture & the strong, incredible Ukrainians making gorgeous clothes you can buy & support local businesses, economy & people fighting for freedom every day. We are also a community who donates to Ukrainian organizations found in any of my recent posts!
