Ethical Shopping Guide: Sweaters

2020 may be a year of uncertainty, but one thing I know for sure: winter is upon us and no-one cancelled sweater weather. Already my favorite winter staple, sweaters are proving to be universal for socially distant office environments, at-home zoom calls, under-the-heat-lamp outdoor girls brunches, 6-ft-apart dates at a local bar and all other ways you may try to maintain a social life, without compromising on comfort.

Normally in my shopping guides, I feature 5-8 ethical brands I’d recommend checking out when looking for brand new clothes to add to your wardrobe. These brands all produce high quality, classic and timeless items that are meant to live in your wardrobe for years but typically require more of an investment, While I still 100% support ethical brands and will feature a lot of them in the upcoming posts, let’s try something different for this guide to shopping sweaters… A huge percentage of the world hit financial rock bottom during the last few months with unemployment, debt, mortgages, medical bills and fashion may be at the bottom of the list of priorities for most. However, buying a fun new (and trendy!) item that won’t break your bank may be exactly what you need to put a little smile on your (or someone you love’s) face, while others may be relying on selling used fashion for extra income…

So! This shopping guide to sweaters will be completely second-hand from online thrifting platforms, very affordable and on-trend for all of the FW 2021 hottest trends.

P.S. I dislike seasonal trends with a fiery passion and this one time may probably be the only most appropriate exception! Happy shopping!

P.P.S. the sweater I’m wearing in this post was thrifted.
